From the same wood

“We change perspective, but gaze in the same direction.” Past and present join hands towards the future, carrying forward what endures: uniqueness in the highest quality. The passion for wood in impressive dimensions and the love for very special details, shapes, and structures are deeply rooted in the Weiss family. Their values are timeless: With aspiration, meaning, focus, respect, and passion, Moritz Weiss now initiates a change in perspective. On the solid foundation that Christian Weiss laid for the craftsmanship of Signatur, the next generation also builds.

Let’s be realistic. Let’s attempt the impossible. Following this motto, I strive every day to further develop myself and to find new, individual solutions for my customers. With Signatur, I have the privilege of creating unique pieces for those brave enough, which are anything but ordinary and as unique as their owners. By combining these demands with traditional craftsmanship, we create sustainable one-of-a-kind pieces that outlast their masters.

“When you’re not feeling well, talk to the trees,” my grandfather always used to say. In an increasingly fast-paced world, I sought the timeless, the enduring. Away from the crowd, towards the unique. That’s how you can describe the fundamental idea of Signatur. Ancient knowledge about the material of wood combined with new technology opened up incredible possibilities. An uncompromising implementation with a pursuit of perfection was the driving force behind this endeavor. To turn a piece of wood into a way of life, nothing less is the task of Signatur.
